After going on display in different parts of the globe, late Hollywood actress Elizabeth Taylor’s timeless collection of jewelry has finally landed at Christie’s in New York, the auction house which will organize the auctioning and sale of these Jewells.

At Christie’s the jewellery will be on view for auction from December 3 to 16. The legendary jewelry and the so-called “Crown Jewels of Hollywood” which once belonged to fashion fiesta Elizabeth Taylor are on a glittering display in New York ahead.

It is interesting to note that late actress Elizabeth Taylor lived life of a queen and was wife of seven husbands in her whole life. She passed away earlier this year in March at the age of 79 and her glamorous life came to an end.

There are reports that the ongoing exhibition at Christie’s auction house in Manhattan will be final stop on a world tour highlighting Taylor’s treasures. It is believed that this is the first and the last time when the whole collection is at a same place.

There are many special points of attraction in the auction like the very famous and precious 33.19 carat “Elizabeth Taylor Diamond” given to her by husband Richard Burton in 1968 which is estimated to sell for between $2.5-3.5 million.

Another gift from Burton, who was twice married to Taylor, displayed in the auction house is the world famous “La Peregrina” pearl from the 16th century, once worn by several queens of Austria, England and Spain.
