Jaipur is known for its cultural heritage and rich traditions. The Pink City is also praised for its jewellery and gemstone work as the city has monopoly on gemstone processing work be it is diamonds, Tanzanite or cubic Zirconia. Simultaneously JAS (Jewellers Association Show) is an effort to boost life force in the jewellery market.
The show is organized every year by the Jewellers Association Jaipur. JAS – 2013 was held from 19-22 July 2013 at Jaipur’s favourite show spot Birla Auditorium, Statue Circle, Jaipur.
The show was appreciated by approx 30000 visitors
including 3500 NRI, foreigners and outstation jewellery traders. There were more than 300 booths covering around 3000 sq. meter space. GIA, India played role of knowledge partner in the jewellery show while show management committee organized various other competitions including Jewellery Design Competition to introduce young talents to the industry.
In the show, every kind of jewellery was displayed including diamond jewellery, gold jewellery, silver jewellery, pearls, precious & semi-precious gemstones, stone studded jewellery, Kundan Meenakari jewellery, thewa jewellery Materials and other jewellery related services to introduce new trends in the gemstone & jewellery market.
