India which is no 1 consumer of Gold and also contributes hugely to global diamond market is undergoing a massive revolution in jewellery designs and trends. Among this all uproar, India International Jewellery week was launched which was the first ever international jewellery week in Asia. This proved to be a gateway for Indian designers, leading and growing brands to showcase their finest jewellery and craftsmen’s talent.
Be it design, creativity, craftsmen’s talent, quality or genuine-ness, India has always won appraisals and accolades in jewellery market. Many Indian designers and leading brands have proved their mettle in global jewellery market. The recent event was held at Grand Hyatt, Mumbai with the double dazzle of golds, rubies and diamonds tugged with the silver screen and small screen glamour of celebs carrying these jewels gracefully. From Katrina Kaif to Deepika Padukone to Konkana Sen Sharma and Sonakshi Sinha; From Bipasha Basu to Soha ali Khan to Lara Dutta to Kangana Ranaut to Kalki Koechin to Zeenat Aman to Hema Malini, Sonam Kapoor, Sonali Bendre and Sushmita Sen made the show bewitching and spell bounding.
With the crème de la crème of Mumbai, all luxury magazines like luxury magazines like Verve, OK, and Kingfisher, Marie Claire, Harpers Bazaar and leading brands of Media were present at the event. The whole week beginning from 19th (which included brands like Gitanjali, Lakshmi, Amarpali and Gehna jewellers) to 23rd (Best of the best PC jewellery LTD.) has been a splendor sparkling success. On 20th there were Tanvi, Agni, Anmol, Jaipur Jewellery Shows; 21st came with pleasant surprises of Jeenat-Desai, Jewel Trends, IGI, Kays Jewels.
