Jewelry exhibitions give a chance to jewelry lovers to come across the best designs and precious metals. The fair is being prearranged at the State Museums of Moscow Kremlin from 12 April to 27 July 2014, and it will be displaying the voyage of five centuries of Indian jewelry history, starting from the 17th century to this very day. It will attribute over 300 pieces of jewelry and jeweled objects lent from more than 30 museums, institutions and private collections, from different corners of the world.

The collection is surrounded by the themes of regions and periods, typology and sources of inspiration. The views would come across jewelry traditions of South India, temple jewels, jewelry of the Mughal court blending gold, enamel, gems; gem-set jewels created for the Nizams of Hyderabad; mutualism between European jewellery houses and India and the cross-cultural influences between Europe and India; a enthusiastic tale of the five great gems of Indian jewellery – diamonds, emeralds, rubies, sapphires and pearls.
