But if the design includes stone setting, Meenakari, Kundan work or other difficult task, the process demands more labour.

In other methods, the components of jewellery pass through a series of multiple processes including making wax model, moulding, casting, polishing, embellishing. The process begins with making a replica model of the sketch using wax material. The model is put in steel containers with investment powder to be heated at 500 degree Celsius. Simultaneously the powder gets solidified and wax is melted creating the perfect design.

Once the manufacturing process of design making is completed, craftsmen start work on stone setting. They prepare designs for stone setting as per jewellery design sketch. They carefully select the gemstone and set them on the jewellery using an artistic approach.

Final Touch

After manufacturing a jewellery piece, it is applied final touch. The piece is buffed and polished by the experts to produce a shimmering shine. If the jewellery contains jewels or other things, the buffing is done prior to stone setting to avoid damage to the gemstones.
